Laurie received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2006. Prior to her graduate degree, Laurie received a B.S. in Nursing from Purdue University in 1996. Laurie comes to Arizona Bone and Joint with ten years experience in the operating room as a nurse, five years experience in spine surgery, and five years experience in pain management.
Her expertise is vast, but her passion is in orthopedic surgery. With over 15 years experience in orthopedics, Laurie is committed to patient care and rehabilitation. Laurie is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and a member of Sigma Theta Tau: a national honor society of nursing.
Currently, Laurie resides in Cave Creek, Arizona with her husband and pets. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and being a wine enthusiast. As a sports fanatic, Laurie enjoys watching and attending any live sport's event, though her favorite sport is football. Laurie is a diehard Indianapolis Colts fan, as well as a Purdue Boilermakers, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan.
