Allison Shannon earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, graduating Suma Cum Laude. She then completed the physician assistant program at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. Allison is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Following graduation from Midwestern University Allison worked for the Mayo Clinic, first in Minnesota, and then for two years in Phoenix. Her work at the Mayo Clinic provided her with broad exposure to a wide variety of complex orthopedic problems. The doctors at OrthoArizona AOSA division are happy to add her experience and expertise to our practice. She sees patients both in the office and assists the surgeons in the operating room.
Dr. Michael Hayman earned his undergraduate degree at St. Lawrence University, where he graduated cum laude, and his doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, where he also did his residency. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the Medical Honor Society, and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the New England Baptist Hospital. His interests include arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder and knee, as well as total joint replacement and general orthopedics.
Dr. Justin Wong is an orthopedic specialist in Hand, Elbow and Shoulder surgery. A native of Phoenix, he attended the University of Arizona for his undergraduate and medical degrees. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed a Hand fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand Center, followed by a Shoulder and Elbow fellowship with the Rothman Institute. His expertise includes arthroscopic shoulder, elbow and wrist surgery, shoulder and elbow replacement, and fracture care of the upper extremity.
Our Certified Physician’s Assistant, earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University. She completed post graduate studies at Wake Forest University in North Carolina to become a Physician Assistant. Greta is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She sees patients in the office and assists the physicians in post-op rounds and is an assistant to the physicians in surgery.
