Orthopedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon
Dr. Scott Evans is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced training in hand and wrist surgery, including complex hand and upper extremity trauma, peripheral nerve conditions, microsurgery, wrist arthroscopy, treatment of hand and wrist arthritis, and sports-related injuries of the hand, wrist and elbow. His clinical interest includes minimally invasive techniques as well as traditional surgical procedures. He strives to recognize the unique needs and expectations of each individual patient and places their satisfaction at the forefront of his practice. Dr. Evans completed medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and graduated with honors in research distinction. He then completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Evans next completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the University of Virginia within the orthopedic and plastic surgery departments. During his training Dr. Evans was involved in multiple research endeavors and published several peer-reviewed journal articles.
