Travis Tirk, P.A.-C.
Travis earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Washington State University and attended PA school at Midwestern University right here in Glendale, Arizona. After serving as an athletic trainer with the baseball team at Washington State and the Texas Rangers’ Arizona League affiliate, spring training camps, and fall instruction camps, Travis knew he wanted to help people in an acute setting.
Prior to OrthoArizona, Travis worked at a local urgent care here in Phoenix before choosing to specialize in elective adult joint replacements. In 2021, he began working in the orthopedic trauma department at the Valleywise Health Medical Center in downtown Phoenix, a Level 1 trauma facility. It was there that he was able to build upon all of his knowledge in orthopedics, ranging from pediatric fractures and dysplasia to fractures from major traumas. He takes a great amount of pride in being able to give top-quality care for fractures, dislocations, sprains, and strains to patients.
In addition to a passion for orthopedics, Travis also loves being outdoors. He enjoys spending time with his loved ones and children, Trevor and Adelyn, going on hikes, camping trips, fishing, running, and obstacle racing to name a few hobbies. He also has a dog and a cat.
