About Dr. Udall

Dr. Dallyn Udall is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult hip and knee reconstruction. A fifth-generation Arizonan, he is proud to serve the community that shaped him. His focus is on helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return confidently to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Udall has advanced training in total hip replacement using the direct anterior approach and total knee replacement using conventional, navigated, and robotic-assisted techniques. He also performs revision surgeries of the hip and knee, knee arthroscopy, joint injections, and offers conservative treatment options for arthritis. In addition, he provides comprehensive care for adult and pediatric orthopedic fractures and closely oversees each patient’s rehabilitation and recovery.

Dr. Udall earned his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude, then completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Riverside University Health System in California and went on to complete fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California.

Dr. Udall is a proud member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.

Outside of work, Dr. Udall enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, volunteering in his church and community, and staying active through wakeboarding, spearfishing, and soccer. He also enjoys taking on home improvement projects and ironworking in his free time.
