About Dr. Acott
Dr. Thomas Acott is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. He treats a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, including arthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, nerve compression, and fractures of the upper extremity. His training emphasizes advanced surgical and nonsurgical approaches to restore function, relieve pain, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.
Dr. Acott received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Following residency, Dr. Acott underwent fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis.
Dedicated to comprehensive patient care, Dr. Acott works closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans—whether through therapy, minimally invasive procedures, or advanced surgical techniques.
