Carissa Abe, D.C.

Dr. Carissa Abe is a board-certified chiropractor who provides personalized care focused on relieving pain, restoring function, and improving overall wellness. Her expertise includes treating athletes and patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, utilizing advanced techniques such as diversified adjustments, Active Release Techniques, Graston Technique, kinesiology taping, acupuncture, cupping therapy, and spinal decompression. Dr. Abe takes an individualized approach to care, focusing on each patient’s specific needs and goals.

A former Division I collegiate swimmer and all-American at Arizona State University, Dr. Abe discovered the benefits of chiropractic care during her own athletic career after struggling with persistent pain. Following her positive experience with treatment, she was inspired to pursue chiropractic medicine and help others achieve the same level of recovery and performance. Her background allows her to connect with patients and guide them through every step of their care with empathy and understanding.

Dr. Abe has worked with high-level athletes and organizations, including the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, USA Swimming, the Milwaukee Brewers, and AVP Beach Volleyball. She is board-certified in chiropractic, physiotherapy, and acupuncture and has earned her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) designation. In addition to treating athletic injuries, she also provides care for patients seeking support during pregnancy and postpartum.
