About Dr. Ralston-Ripple

Dr. Bridget Ralston-Ripple is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon who helps patients of all ages return to the activities they enjoy. As a lifelong recreational athlete, she understands the physical, social, and personal benefits of staying active and enjoys caring for everyone from young athletes hoping to return to sports to adults looking to move comfortably through everyday life. Her expertise includes arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, and hip as well as ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, rotator cuff repair, labral repair, shoulder stabilization, cartilage repair, and fracture fixation. She also offers nonsurgical treatments, including knee and shoulder injections.

Working closely with each patient, Dr. Ralston-Ripple develops personalized treatment plans focused on their recovery goals. While she enjoys performing surgery, she recognizes that nonsurgical care is often highly effective and may be the best approach. She finds it especially rewarding to see patients regain function and get back to what matters most to them.

Dr. Ralston-Ripple earned her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University in California before receiving her Master of Public Health degree from The University of Arizona and Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, where she also completed her orthopedic surgery residency. Following residency, Dr. Ralston-Ripple continued her specialized training with an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque.

Outside of work, Dr. Ralston-Ripple enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, playing soccer, running, traveling, and tackling furniture building and home improvement projects. She also enjoys baking, especially cookies and cakes, and playing card games with family and friends.
