Maxwell MacCollum III, MD
Total Joint & General Orthopedics
Effective January 1, 2024, Dr. MacCollum will no longer perform surgeries. He will continue to see his established and new patients in 2024 and refer any surgical candidates to his colleagues.
I grew up in Phoenix, attending local schools and obtaining my medical degree in 1984 at the University of Arizona in Tucson. I completed my training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Maricopa Medical Center in 1989 and joined Canyon Orthopaedic Surgeons (now part of OrthoArizona) in 1989 in the west valley where I remain to this day. I was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1991 and have completed the recertification process through 2031. When you schedule an appointment at my office you will always be evaluated and treated by me as I do not use physician extenders. I truly enjoy seeing patients and practicing Orthopaedic Surgery, doing my best to help patients get better.
